About ACD CRYO

ACD CRYO is a subsidiary of ACD who started manufacturing over 40 years ago; the company manufactures cryogenic pumps for the industrial gas industry. The ACD product line includes reciprocating and centrifugal pumps for all cryogenic liquids, turbo expanders for air separation, and boil-off compressors for liquefied natural gas.

ACD CRYO focuses on customisation of products to European standards for cryogenic pumping systems supplying both ACD standard products, as well as manufacturing their existing Cryopump brand of pumps. ACD CRYO has two European offices; ACD CRYO AG, located in Switzerland is responsible for the sale of pumps throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa and ACD CRYO GmbH, located in Germany (less than 15 km from the Swiss office) is responsible for manufacturing, service and spare parts sales within the same region.

ACD CRYO’s 440 m2 manufacturing, service and sales centre in Germany, which provides full service and repair of cryogenic pumps and turbo expanders to all of Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Together, ACD and ACD CRYO provide customers with a broad range of products and services from which to choose.

ACD located in Santa Ana, California is housed in a modern 4645 m2 facility filled with computer-controlled machining and sophisticated balancing equipment, clean rooms for oxygen compatible pumps and spare parts, and an extensive spare parts inventory.

Since joining the Cryogenic Industries group of companies, ACD (1983) and ACD CRYO (1989) have instituted a stringent quality assurance program that is certified to ISO 9001 standards. Manufactured parts and castings are subjected to rigorous testing, and final products can be cryogenically tested at both ACD and ACD CRYO to ensure that they meet the design requirements.
